The vampire lift PRP
is an autologous concentrate of human platelets in a small amount of plasma. PRP is obtained by centrifugation of patient’s own blood using a laboratory centrifuge. The product is rich in cells and growth factors that stimulate the divisions of other cells and reconstruction of skin tissue. PRP is used for biological rejuvenation of tissues as well as for improving their elasticity and firmness.
The idea behind the platelet-rich plasma administration procedure is to provide a strong stimulus for tissue repair processes similar to those observed upon injuries. Skin is revitalized as as the effect of autologous cell therapy.

Preparation and procedure
During the procedure, patients may experience discomfort associated with the collection of blood and injection of product into the tissues. Preparation of platelet-rich plasma starts with about 10-30 mL of venous blood being collected from the patient into special tubes followed by centrifugation of these tubes so as to separate erythrocytes and leukocytes from platelet-containing plasma. Thus obtained platelet-rich plasma is injected into anesthetized skin using a very thin needle (mesotherapy).
When done properly, the vampire lift procedure is associated with no complications. Immediately after the procedure, the skin may present with small papulae which resolve over several days, as well as tiny puncture spots which may be covered with makeup. The series of procedures are scheduled according to patients’ needs. The procedure is recommended to all patients due to the low risk of complications.
